"First We Bring a Slope to You....                        ...Then We Bring You to the Slopes"
The Southern School of Snow Sports' school programs are dedicated to creating the best in first ski and snowboard experiences.

SSSS on Campus(Bringing a Slope to You)
We prepare the "newbie" in a Ski and Snowboard Skills and Safety Program on the school campus.  We do so by teaching fundamental skill sets on what we call "Snowturf".   The program is typically consists of 4 days of the "Dryslope" training and a classroom session where The Responibility Code for the slopes and other safety proticol is covered.  We will have this session either the first day it rains or on Friday. The only thing the kids need to do or bring is dress for temperatures, bring a good attitude and perhaps some water.

Snow Life Adventure Trips(Bringing You to the Slopes)
We then lead day trips to Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley, NC just a few hours from the northern suburbs of Atlanta where the both the "newbies" and the experienced alike can enjoy a great day of skiing or snowboarding.     Upon arrival everyone will be outfitted and we will set all up with ski school and other directions regarding meals, check ins, and departure.  Helmets and other ski clothing can be rented at this time at $8/item. There is usually a pizza stop on the way home from the mountains.  No meals are provided.   We recommend bringing breakfast onto the bus and perhaps packing a lunch to save $.  Lunch can run upward of $12 to $18(especially for students who order everthing).  The pizza stop runs about $7 and we also collect $2/student for bus driver tips.   There is a gift shop for the kids find those precious things they just have to have.
